Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The finial on the cover is missing as visible in the catalogue photograph and there are medium sized chips to the rim of the cover. There are scattered chips generally and surface dirt and the piece would benefit from a light clean. There is an old glue repair where one handle joins the body which is quite dark in colour and would benefit from some further attention. There are minor areas of infill to the socle.
