Christopher Knowles est un poète et peintre américain né en 1959 à New York. Sa poésie est très tôt appréciée du dramaturge Robert Wilson. Rapidement, des spécialistes lui diagnostisent une lésion cérébrale. Aujourd'hui, ses oeuvres sont entrées dans les collections du Museum of Modern Art de New York.
