Catalogue Note
The preliminaries in this copy are a mix of the two issues of this edition, the first of which was dated 1707, and the reissue appeared in around 1724 with Motte's name on the title-page replaced by Senex, Gosling, Innys, Osborn and Longman. The list of subscribers in the 1707 edition is omitted in the reissue, as here, and the leaf "Monita ad tyrones" is signed c rather than b, again a characteristic of the reissue. Plate 60 is also in the reissue state.
