Chancery folio (305 x 208mm.), 246 leaves, [*10 **-***8; a-k10.8 l10 m-x10.8 y10 z6 [et]8 [con]6], 41 lines plus headline, gothic type, 3- to 6-line initials supplied in red, contemporary binding by the Augsburg Head-over-heels binder (EBDB w000959, Kyriss 78; active 1473-1501), blind-tooled calf over square wooden boards including a scroll lettered Maria Hilff, single clasp, traces of manuscript title at head of upper cover, some deckle edges, a few wormholes (more towards end), lacking strap, rebacked retaining most of original spine, binding slightly rubbed with a few small wormholes
