Jules Marchand, presentation inscription signed by the author on half-title. Marchand was a writer and the editor of the periodical Sur la Riviera, which ran from 1918 to 1937.
The three leaves bound in the front contain manuscript text, signed at the end by the author, entitled "Les Sports de l'esprit. Un jeu à la mode", with many corrections and additions.
