4to (215 x 154mm.), 288 leaves, a-z8 [et]8 [con]8 [rum]8 A-F8 G4 H-K8 L4, double column, 42 lines plus headline, gothic type, without printer's device (as often), a2 with 5-line illuminated initial with marginal decoration, 3- to 5-line initials in red, manuscript annotations, modern half calf over wooden boards retaining original vellum flyleaves, two clasps, occasional light spotting or staining, v5 torn without loss but affecting text, a few marginal tears or wormholes
