The last metal plate is inscribed "Fait par │ S.A.I. Victoria │ Grande Duchesse │ de Russie │ Jacques Nozal │ Julie Nozal │ achevé en 1929 St Briac". Victoria and her husband Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich settled after the Russian Revolution in France, at Saint-Briac in Brittany.
