Condition
The sculpture appears sound. There are a few areas of isolated oxidisation visible upon very close inspection, and traces of surface dirt and casting residue, some of which have discoloured over the course of time. There is an unevenness to areas of the patina, thought to be in keeping with the artist's techniques and materials. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition, with a good, crisp casting.
The sculpture is affixed to a black wooden base via two screws with penetrate the base. These are located near to the base of each foot, and are probably not in keeping with the artist's original working method.
