Condition

The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered to a backing board via two hinge strips along the top edge. The sheet is deckled in areas along the top edge. The sheet undulates slightly but otherwise appears sound. There is some light surface dirt to the sheet only visible upon very close inspection. There are some scratches to the work at the lower edge, thought to be in keeping with the artist's working methods. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is window mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
