Provenance

Dölf Amacker went to India around 1948, shortly after independence and worked there as a young engineer. This work was acquired during his stay, between 1948 and 1961.

Condition

This painting is unlined and appears to be on its original stretcher. There is very minor craquelure visible in areas of thicker paint with associated loss. This painting would benefit from a light clean and is in good condition, as viewed.
