Condition

To the naked eye: The painting appears in relatively satisfactory condition. It has been relined, a little bit too strong on the 2nd half of the 20th century. It has been also cleaned, in the 2nd half of the 20th century, that has removed some glazes on the vegetation, the floor and the figure's clothes. We can notice a small loss (about 2 mm) next to the right border. Under UV light: The painting appears under a green uniform varnish. We notice some small repaints on the sky, the left hand and on the folds' trousers.

Catalogue Note
