Condition
The image is accurate. The structure is sound and sturdy. As said in the catalogue, it has been repainted. Traces of old woodworms damages, not active anymore. A previous restoration has suppressed the pearl frieze on the rear side. Upholstery with wear and stains. Unusual and very fine design, beautiful carving.
