à décor d'arabesques, serpents, vases de fleurs et atlantes, centrée d'une mandorle ornée d'un ange musicien, dans un double encadrement d'oves et dards et de rinceaux feuillagés, avec des papillons dans les angles ; la façade ouvrant à trois tiroirs sans traverses, reposant sur des pieds toupie ; dessus de marbre gris veiné ; (pieds probablement remplacés et dessus de marbre rapporté)

The image is slightly too bright. This commode has been well restored under the past decades. Inevitable scratches all throughout the surface due to age and handling. A very few losses to the veneer (next to the lower lock hole for example). As said in the catalogue, the marble top (in good condition) is associated : it was originally with a marquetry top. The feet, on the contrary, are original. Highly attractive piece of furniture in good overall condition.
