To the naked eye:
The painting does not appear in very good condition but it has a great presence.
The painting has been re-lined approximately 50 years ago, a bit too strong. We can notice some scratches and cracks on the sky (on the centre and on the right, visible on the catalogue's picture). We notice some old and light restorations on the lower part (brown repaints).
Under the U.V. light:
We can notice the restorations already mentioned on the lower part and some light repaints on the sky.
