Description

Condition

Please note the photograph is upside down with regard to the pile. Measurements: 376cm long the top, 377cm along the bottom, 412cm up one side, 409cm along other side, 410cm up through the centre. Colours in reality are crisper and lighter and more attractive. This carpet is very decorative, with bold colours and drawing. Generally 2-3mm good deep pile overall. Some oxidisation to the taupe colour, within some of leaf motifs in corners, so pile lower. Some repairs overall, especially within the central yellow shaped medallion, as visible in the photograph. There is a long narrow vertical indentation towards the centre, where heavy furniture was recently placed. There is a repaired split in the top right corner of the carpet (bottom right of present photograph). Cotton flat weave end guards and original side cords. Good sized carpet, highly decorative.
