Leaves from Gregory the Great, Homiliae in Evangelia, in Latin [France or Germany, late 11th or early 12th century]

two leaves, each c.265x200mm, vellum, 31 lines (c.230x145mm), large initials infilled in quarters in red, 14th(?)-century numbers 'x-xi' and xiii-xiiii', corrections made over erasures in a Humanistic hand, fold along inner vertical margin of each leaf, vellum darkened in lower corner

These leaves were recovered from a copy of Johann Reuchlin, De Rudimentis Hebraicis, Pforzheim: Thomas Anselm, 1506.
