Catalogue Note

ALTHOUGH WORN AND DAMAGED, THIS IS A SUBSTANTIAL FRAGMENT OF EARLY MUSIC

The chant consists of Psalms, antiphons, and responses for Pentecost and Ascension. Large spaces have been left for the initial ā€˜D’ of Dum complerentur dies, and the ā€˜P’ of Post passionem; despite the fact that the manuscript was never completed, it does seem to have been used, as a second scribe has made a textual correction.
