Condition
Painting executed on a large single panel. The panel is uncradled and stable with a slight vertical bow. Reverse has two horizontal slots that once held stabilizing batons. Painting appears to be in generally strong condition. Areas of thinness in upper left headdress. UV light reveals small scattered retouches in isolated spots that are mostly cosmetic, for example, in cap of figure in upper left, the body of Holofernes, and Judith's arm. Painting in a carved giltwood frame.
