Natural pearl and sapphire necklace

Composed of a graduated row of natural pearls measuring from approximately 4.75 to 7.90mm, alternating with seed pearls, the clasp collet-set with a cabochon sapphire, length approximately 390mm.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 67900, dated 28 April 2013, stating that the forty-five round to roundish, oval and button shaped pearls measuring from approximately 4.75 to 7.90mm, were found to be natural, saltwater; and that the cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 9.20 carats, measuring approximately 14.85 x 8.70 x 7.15mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Pearls of white to light cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones, with overall good skin and lustre ,a few growth marks and blemishes; for further details on the pearls, please refer to the SSEF report. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with a few typical inclusions and minor nicks. Clasp secure, security chain. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 20 grams.
