Description

Set with brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, the front highlighted with marquise-shaped emeralds, supporting a detachable pendant set with a pear-shaped emerald stated to weigh 13.04 carats, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 370mm.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 82769, stating that the pear-shaped emerald weighing approximately 13 carats, measuring approximately 21.00 x 13.25 x 8.75mm, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Engraved EP 13.04, referring to the weight of the pear-shaped emerald on the pendant, EN 2.67 for the weights of the two marquise-shaped emeralds, as well as BN 1.07 / B 25.82 / BN 3.15 for the weights of the variously shaped diamonds. Emeralds well matched in colour, green of medium strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, few nicks and scratches; for further details on the pear-shaped emerald, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS clarity, as graded in the mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 59 grams.
