Decorated with a carved emerald stated to weigh 49.93 carats, within a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, accented with carved ruby beads, further set with briliant-cut diamonds, inner circumference approximately 165mm, signed Michele della Valle, numbered, pouch and case stamped Michele della Valle.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Signed Michele della Valle, numbered 160757. Inscribed ct 49.93 referring to the weight of the central emerald. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emerald measuring approximately 24.40 x 21.75 x 8.61mm, green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching. Rubies well matched in colour and in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 9.00 carats, on average G-H colour and VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 47 grams. Pouch and box stamped Michele della Valle.
