Sapphire and diamond necklace

Set with an oval sapphire weighing 19.01 carats, framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspended from a chain, length approximately 470mm.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 85174, stating that the oval sapphire weighing 19.01 carats and measuring 18.71 x 14.25 x 7.04 mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Sapphire blue of medium saturation, good transparency, with a few typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions, for further information on the sapphire please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of less than 2.00 carats, bright and lively. Chain closes securely, double closing mechanism. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 11 grams.
