- Platinum, sapphire, ruby, emerald and diamonds
Set with carved rubies, emeralds and sapphires, cabochon emeralds, circular-, single-cut, marquise-shaped and baguette diamonds, the square dial with Arabic numerals, length approximately 160mm, dial signed Cartier, French assay marks, case signed Cartier.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.

Dial signed Cartier, French assay marks for platinum. Partial maker's mark for Jaeger LeCoultre. Mecanical movement, caliber 104, inscribed EWC for European Watch and Clock Company, case numbered 28569, movement numbered 3179, lever escapement, bimetallic balance, flat spirale, inscribed 116 under the crown. Rubies, emeralds and sapphires well matched in colour, with typical surface reaching inclusions, abrasions and chips. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In very good condition. Case signed Cartier with monogram on the exterior of the case: H. W. Mc. K.
