Set with a sugarloaf sapphire weighing 15.34 carats, framed with brilliant-cut diamonds, the shoulders decorated with similarly cut stones, size 521/2, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80460 and Gübelin report no. 15060203, each stating that the sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing 15.34 carats, is of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 17022 S.A. French maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report, the sapphire measures 13.57 x 13.17 x 9.03mm. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with a few small inclusions, one surface reaching, minor chips and abrasions, scratch on the top of the stone; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 carats, as gauged in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
