Dragon and Phoenix (also known as Fenhuang), often a symbol of the king and his queen, are more than auspicious motifs found in Chinese traditional art and craft. It is believed that the two mythical beasts are worshipped in ancient China and regarded as totems that bring luck and peace. With the ability to soar to the sky, they also serve as a symbol of eternal love between husband and wife.
