  • Rock Crystal, Diamond, Onyx, White Gold, Platinum
The first designed as a rock crystal open rectangular plaque flanked by D-shaped diamond links, connected by black tonneau motifs, mounted in 18 karat white gold, signed Boucheron, Paris; and the second set with a modified ogee onyx frame, accented with foliate motifs set with single-cut diamonds and calibré-cut onyx, mounted in platinum, both circa 1920  (2) 

 

Condition

Please note that this lot will be offered without reserve. One brooch signed Boucheron Paris, with French assay marks for gold, mounted in white gold. The rock crystal with minor abrasions, nicks, tiny chips and fine scratches. The black enamel with minor chips. The diamonds weighing approximately 0.35 carat in total, about I-J colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. And the other brooch, the diamonds weighing approximately 1.00 carat, about I-J colour, mainly VS-SI clarity (a few I1), as gauged and graded in the mounting. The calibré-cut onyx with minor nicks. Both brooches with signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate to the age, in very good conditions.
