Condition

The panel is sound. There are two very small losses along the extreme upper edge, towards the centre, and two further very small losses along the upper section of the extreme left vertical edge. There are fine lines of craquelure throughout the work. There is a very small flake of loss to the red pigment in the lower right section of the cup. Subject to the above the work is in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals and small speck of re-touching to the aforementioned speck of loss to the red pigment. The work is held within a textured white painted wood frame, possibly the Artist's. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
