  • crayon, felt tip pen and collage
  • 58.5 by 44cm.; 23 by 17½in.
  • Executed circa 1965.

Condition

The sheet is adhered to a backing card in several places, but is not fully laid down. There is a tiny nick to the top of the left hand edge of the sheet. All elements of the collage appear stable. There are traces of surface dirt and studio detritus, including some glue staining apparent. There are unevenly torn edges to the sheets of the collage, including the magazine image of the woman's torso, and some scuffs and creases again, in keeping with the nature of the Artist's techniques and materials. There are further traces of surface dirt and studio detritus visible. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Housed behind glass in a thin metal strip frame.
