Condition
The sheet is fully laid down to a backing board. There are areas of slight unevenness in places, including slight old cockling to the extreme left hand edge, and air bubbles visible to the reverse of the sheet, owing to the work having been fully laid down. There are pin holes visible to the corners, in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials, and a very slight old spot of paint loss to the centre of the upper edge and a couple of further smaller specks of loss to the lower half of the composition. There is an extremely tiny tear towards the bottom of the left vertical edge, only visible upon very close inspection. There is a line of cracking visible to the top right corner. There are signs of old paint cracking to some of the thicker areas of impasto, and staining to the unpainted areas of the sheet, but this excepting the work appears in excellent overall original condition.
