Original canvas. There are some very small scattered flecks of loss to the work, most apparent to the brown pigment in the lower centre of the work. There is also a spot of frame abrasion at the upper right edge. There is a small, light surface scratch in the lower left quadrant. There are some scattered areas of reticulation to some areas of the darker pigments. There are some traces of light surface dirt and studio detritus, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some scattered areas of fluorescence and retouching throughout the composition. These have been sensitively executed. Housed in a thin dark wooden frame.
