Condition
The board appears sound, and is fixed into the mount of the frame.
There is rounding to the corners, with some slight separation between the layers of the board, and a few areas of the edges of the board, in keeping with the nature of the artist's materials, with some associated loss. There is a pin hole to the lower part of the left hand edge. There are signs of minor surface dirt and studio detritus visible, but this excepting the work appears in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals a small spot of fluorescence and probable retouching to the lower left hand edge, together with further areas which appear in keeping with the nature of the artist's materials and do not suggest retouching.
Housed in a thick white wooden frame, float-mounted against a white backing.
