Condition

The sheet is not laid down, but is adhered to the card mount at three points along the upper edge. There are pin holes in the upper corners, and the sheet is cockled. There are further minor creases visible to the extreme edges, including to the tips of the corners. There are signs of surface dirt and studio detritus visible to the sheet, in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials. There are signs of staining to the sheet, including to the upper corners, the upper edge and an area of possible water staining to the centre of the composition, with a few flecks of possible foxing. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition with strong, vivid colours throughout. Housed behind glass in a thin gilt frame, float-mounted on a cream backing card.
