Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is some slight rubbing to the left and right vertical edges of the canvas. There is a spot of craquelure to the yellow pigment just above the horizon in the upper left quadrant, and also a very tiny line of craquelure apparent in the extreme upper right corner. There is some light surface dirt and a few scattered specks of matter. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition, with a rich surface texture.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a painted wooden box frame.
