Condition

The sheet is affixed to a backing card with four tabs along the upper horizontal edge. The sheet undulates slightly. There are several creases and repaired tears around the edges of the sheet, most of which are not visible in the current mount. There is a pinhole in each of the upper and lower right corners, which appears to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. There is some slight discolouration, light staining and surface dirt towards the edges of the sheet, not visible in the current mount, some very small scattered spots of foxing. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame with fabric-covered mount, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
