Catalogue Note

Regarding this edition, Stephen Coppel states: 'Only impressions numbered 1/60 to 8/60, plus 3 TP/EPs, were made before the blocks were melted in 1947. In August 1981, Andrews re-cut the blocks and impressions taken from these were numbered to follow the original sequence.' This print is from the original 1931 block. The later impressions are printed in reverse.
