Condition

The elements of the work appear sound and securely attached. There is some cracking to the paint on the wooden elements in places, in line with the grain of the wood, and there is also cracking to the paint at the join between the wood and the board in places, inkeeping with the nature of the artist's materials. There are one or two scuffs, scratches and areas of rubbing to the work in places, most apparent to the edges of the board and to the wooden elements at the centre of the work. There may be a very small loss to the top left edge of the black painted line at the bottom of the work. There is some light surface dirt across the work, most apparent to the edges of the board. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some small spots of fluorescence, primarily around the edges of the board and the wooden elements, thought to be inkeeping with the artist's materials. The work is unframed.
