Condition

The sculpture appears sound. There is some slight rubbing to some of the protruding edges of the sculpture as well as on the upper surface of the jetty, where in places the bronze surface is visible beneath the patina. There are one or two minor casting imperfections apparent on the upper and lower surfaces of the jetty, at the centre of both the edges. There is some surface dirt and traces of casting residue in places, and there are one or two minor traces of oxidisation. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is affixed to a stone base with four bolts, one at each of the corners of the work.
