Condition
The sheet is affixed to the backing mount with several tabs to the reverse of the upper horizontal edge. The sheet undulates slightly but otherwise appears sound. The sheet has a deckled edge. There is some minor frame abrasion around the edge of the work, with some resultant gilding having become attached to the surface of the work. There is some craquelure to some of the black ink, with some extremely tiny resulting losses in one or two places, primarily towards the top of the tallest central form. There is a very small indentation to the paper in the upper left quadrant. There are one or two spots of studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
The work is presented in a gilt frame with fabric-covered slip, housed under glass.
