Condition
The sheet is affixed with tape along the upper horizontal edge to the mount. The sheet undulates slightly but otherwise appears sound. There is some craquelure to some of the thicker areas of oil and gouache, which in a few isolated spots has resulted in some very small losses and slight lifting. There is also a loss to the orange pigment in the lower centre of the work, and to the green pigment in the upper centre of the work. There is some studio detritus in the upper left corner. There is some discolouration to the sheet, not visible in the current mount. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition, with bright and fresh colours throughout.
The work is window mounted and presented in a gilt and painted wooden frame, held under glass.
