Condition
Not examined out of the frame. The board appears to be sound. The surface of the painting is uneven which is in keeping with the artist's working method and materials. There are some very light traces of surface dirt and studio detritus but overall the work appears to be in excellent and original condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of florescence or retouching.
The board is float mounted on a linen covered board and is held behind glass in a painted frame.
