In-8 (228 x 145 mm). Plats de percaline verte, avec la mention en lettres dorées "Université de France Lycée Condorcet" dans une couronne de lauriers sur le premier plat, dos en chagrin noir (Reliure de l’époque).
Charnière et coiffe supérieure restaurées.
Livre de prix offert à Marcel Proust, avec un certificat mentionnant : "Lycée Condorcet. Distribution des Prix. Année scolaire 1886-1887. Classe de seconde Div.on A. L’Élève Proust a obtenu le 2d Prix d’Histoire et Géographie."
Après avoir redoublé la classe de seconde en 1886, Proust obtient de brillants résultats en 1887. À la distribution des prix le 2 août 1887, il reçoit un 2e prix en Histoire et, en Géographie, pour la première fois une mention d’excellence avec un 2e accessit.
