"This is one of the most important accounts of travels in the Levant, and the first description of Athens which was systematic, detailed and trustworthy" (Blackmer).
THE FIRST EDITION IS VERY RARE: the last (and only) copy recorded at auction on ABPC was in 1990 (the Trumbull copy), and neither the Blackmer nor Atabey collections possessed a copy.
