Catalogue Note

Although Abbey lists 25 plates for this work in his coloured copy, there seem to have been some changes made to the plain edition, with two of the plates now bearing different captions, and judging by records of other copies offered for sale, two of the plates no longer present. The plain edition possibly never has more than 23 plates.
