Catalogue Note

Known as an Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite illustrator of poetry and children's books, Florence Harrison (1877–1955) can also be seen to have been influenced by the practices of fin-de-siècle poster artists. She illustrated books by Rossetti, Morris and Tennyson.
