FIRST EDITION OF THE AUTHOR'S HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL FIRST NOVEL. 3,000 copies were issued on 26 March 1920. By August, the novel had seen seven printings, two of which (the fourth and seventh) saw revisions in the plates.
