l'épaisse lame de forme arrondie, les faces convexes au brillant poli, le bord supérieur coupé droit et les trois autres biseautés, percée dans sa partie supérieure d'un large orifice aux bords droits, la pierre de couleur chamois rehaussée de belles taches gris bleuté

Acquired in Beijing, December 1944, from Huang Jun (1880-1952) (Huang Bochuan), owner of Tong gu zhai  (according to Max Loehr's notes).

Condition

There are two ca. 2.2x1 cm and a ca. 2.8x1.5 cm old shallow chips to the lower edges of the blade (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a ca. 1x1cm large flaw to the stone on one side of the blade. The blade is beautifully polished and some parts of the stone a reflective silvery-grey colour. The stone is a more bluish-grey colour than the catalogue illustration suggests.
