Condition
The first: The medium is oil on canvas, the canvas is not lined. There are two small losses, one at the scroll of the 'cello, another just above the bow, in the center of the 'cello. There is some buckling to the canvas. The impasto is nicely retained. Under UV there are three dime-to-nickel sized areas of fluorescence: at the bottom center of the 'cello; at the center of the 'cello just below the bow; at the top of the 'cello at the scroll.
The second: The medium is oil on canvas, the canvas is not relined. There is some buckling to the canvas. There is some surface dirt. There is good impasto retained. There is no apparent inpainting when viewed under UV.
