Condition

This work is in very good overall condition, the pigments are well preserved. Executed on white laid paper, laid down on card and hinged to the overmount at the center of the upper edge with tape. The sheet is lightly stained due to a previous mounting, most notably at the corners. There is some light staining in the sky towards the center of the upper edge and a few tiny surface nicks visible in the water at lower center. An addition to the inscription, which appears to be original, has been erased above the words SanTropé at lower right.
