Condition

Executed on cream wove paper and not laid down. There is an artist's pinhole at the centre of the upper and lower edges. The upper edge is deckled. There is some minor bubbling to the thickest areas of pigment and a few tiny lines of craquelure visible, primarily to the white pigments. There is a small crease to the lower right corner and there are some small spots of foxing in places, predominately to the left of the seated figure. There are two tiny paper elements attached to the surface at the left hand side of the signature. There are remnants of glue from a previous mounting visible along the perimeter of the verso with circular stains visible at each corner and at the centre of each edge, all of which relate to previous mounting. There are some areas of foxing down the centre of the verso. The colours are bright and fresh and this work is in overall good condition.
