Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on board and sandwiched between the mount and the overmount. The sheet is lightly time-stained and there are scattered spots of foxing visible throughout the composition. There are small areas of loss to the paper surface in places, the largest of which is approx. 2cm wide: notably towards the centre of the right and left edges and along the upper left edge. There are further smaller spots of surface abrasion scattered throughout the sheet. There is a small tear in the upper left corner and another towards the centre of the upper edge. The pigments remain bright and fresh. This work is in overall fair condition.
